Poison Ivy In Dark Knights Of Steel #3

Tom Taylor is something like a wizard of alternative universes. Don't get this wrong, his work in  DC Comics "main universe" is excellent but stories like Injustice and and now Dark Knights of Steel allow writers to create stories without the constricts of what's canon or not or the need to incorporate larger arcs and other books in their narrative. 

We've enjoyed Mr. Taylor's writing of Poison Ivy in Injustice and now it looks like she will appear in the medieval Dark Knights of Steel universe. But what is her role there?

I mean we already knew she would appear from these two gorgeous variant covers by Dan Mora and Ejikure. And DAAAAAMN they both look gorgeous and they definitely need to be be released as posters too.

But in Dark Knights of Steel #3 (available now) there's a hint about who Poison Ivy is in this universe. Roll the drums please.

She is mentioned as the "Lady of the Forest" and the only person she will apparently talk to is Harley. Perhaps there is a romance backstory in this? 

The Lady of the Forest is usually a “mythical” figure who guards and protects all the beings of the woods. The character appears in mythologies of nations around the world, taking different names.

We, of course, are more than excited to see her on the book and can't wait for the next issue!
