Let's be honest, most corporate Pride campaigns are cringy and fail. They try to sponsor products or services using colorful Pride banners and promos without understanding even the basics of what Pride is.
Results may vary, from absurdly hilarious Pride campaigns to outright offensive ones. But sometimes the marketing department does something so bad that it could as well be a parody of corporate Pride posts.
And Injustice 2 Mobile did exactly that. For celebrating Pride, their official accounts urge users to beat the crap out of DC flagship bisexual, feminist icon, Poison Ivy.
Of course this is about beating up a FICTIONAL bi woman on Pride but it is still a hilariously bad attempt at celebrating Pride and trying to promote a mobile game without understanding what the character means to their users. Of course there's always the chance that their users enjoy beating up bi women on Pride day so you could call this a great marketing strategy.
Injustice 2 Mobile, you can do better. In fact everyone can do better than this.
