Shane Glines is an illustrator, animator, and character designer. His work has a distinct "classic cartoon" style that combines retro with more modern, "fluid" elements.
Glines worked as a layout and cleanup artist for Spümcø, before becoming a character designer at Warner Bros. for DC Comics based series such as Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond. He also did character design work on Cartoon Network's Samurai Jack and is the lead character designer on the current Harley Quinn animated series.
Glines has also illustrated several covers for the comic Gotham Girls.

"Poison Ivy for Justice League Action. A strange design. I never expected that leaf hat to be approved."
The leaf hat is a great addition to Poison Ivy, a stylish take and love the detail on the length of the skirt related to the boot!
This is an early design concept of Ivy for the new Harley Quinn animated series. It's very similar to the final design of Poison Ivy in the show. What's impressive is that this design is already iconic and recognisable without focusing too much on adding plants or flowers. Elegant and modern.

Lil Poison Ivy was a huge moment for the series. It helped viewers get into the mind (quite literally) of Poison Ivy/Pamela Isley. Here we see a bit more teen version of Pamela Isley but there are many elements (especially the face and the eyes) that remained in the final design. Hope to see teen Pammy too in Season 3!
This is my favourite design. Her (SPOILER ALERT) Revival look. She looks absolutely badass here and ready to beat the poop out of Joker. A very strong, emotional and inspiring moment in the show. Poison Ivy looks absolutely stunning with the flowers on her hair and the make up running from her eyes (or is it the regenerative power of the Green?).
